A Musical Journey

Renda Pangestu is strongly influenced by the community, culture and sounds of his homecountry - Indonesia. Even as a youngster, he was drawn to music and art. He truly understands the power of sound and performs music with his guitar that speaks to people across the musical spectrum.

Renda Pangestu worked over 10 years as professional musician in Bali, playing on festivals concerts and various events.

Among others, Tommy Emmanuel, Julian Lage, Pat Metheny, Django Reinhardt, Sylvain Luc and Richard Bona have shaped Renda Pangestu musical style.

Renda Pangestu is leading a trio performing his original music. Additionally, he is actively involved in various projects as a guitarist and composer.
